CVSS v2.0
5.0
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
TCExam version 11.1.015
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via a direct request to a .php file. This is achieved by accessing certain files, such as public/code/tce page footer.php, which reveals the installation path in an error message.
Recommendations
For TCExam version 11.1.015, consider restricting access to sensitive .php files, such as public/code/tce page footer.php, to prevent the disclosure of the installation path. As a temporary workaround, modify the error handling mechanism to avoid revealing sensitive information in error messages.
