CVE-2011-4713

CVSS v2.0

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions osCSS2 versions 2.1.0 and earlier
Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to read arbitrary files. This is achieved by using a .. (dot dot) in the ID parameter to either "catalog/shopping cart.php" or "catalog/content.php" endpoints.
Recommendations For osCSS2 versions 2.1.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the ID parameter in the affected endpoints until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the ID parameter in "catalog/shopping cart.php" and "catalog/content.php" to minimize the risk of exploitation.
