CVE-2013-0700

CVSS v2.0

7.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 PLCs versions 2.x through 3.x
Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, leading to a defect-mode transition and control outage, via crafted packets to the TCP port 102, also known as the ISO-TSAP port.
Recommendations For versions 2.x and 3.x, consider restricting access to TCP port 102 as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. As a mitigation measure, avoid using the ISO-TSAP port for critical operations until the issue is resolved.
