Description
The issue allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse
dbicudtx11.dll, mfc90enu.dll, or mfc90loc.dll file in the current working directory. This can be demonstrated by a directory that contains a .des, .qbo, or .qpg file.Recommendations
For Intuit QuickBooks version 2010, consider removing or restricting access to the
dbicudtx11.dll, mfc90enu.dll, and mfc90loc.dll files in the current working directory to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, avoid opening .des, .qbo, or .qpg files from untrusted sources. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
