CVSS v2.0

6.9

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions JetAudio version 8.0.7.1000 Basic
Description The issue allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse WNASPI32.DLL file in the current working directory. This can be demonstrated by a directory that contains a .mp3 file.
Recommendations For JetAudio version 8.0.7.1000 Basic, consider restricting access to the WNASPI32.DLL file to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using directories that contain .mp3 files with JetAudio until a fix is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
