CVE-2010-5284

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Collabtive version 0.6.5
Description The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. Specifically, the vulnerabilities are found in the following parameters:
  • The User parameter in the edit user profile feature to "manageuser.php"
  • The y parameter in a newcal action to "manageajax.php"
  • The pic parameter to "thumb.php".
Recommendations For Collabtive version 0.6.5, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the edit user profile feature in "manageuser.php", the newcal action in "manageajax.php", and the "thumb.php" until a patch is available. Avoid using the User, y, and pic parameters in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
