Description
The issue is related to multiple buffer overflows in the GUIControls, BatchObjSrv, and BatchSecCtrl ActiveX controls. These buffer overflows can be triggered by remote attackers who send a long string in a property value, allowing them to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For InBatch version 8.1 SP1, update to a version that includes the fix for the buffer overflows in the GUIControls, BatchObjSrv, and BatchSecCtrl ActiveX controls.
For InBatch version 9.0, update to a version that includes the fix for the buffer overflows in the GUIControls, BatchObjSrv, and BatchSecCtrl ActiveX controls.
For InBatch version 9.0 SP1, update to a version that includes the fix for the buffer overflows in the GUIControls, BatchObjSrv, and BatchSecCtrl ActiveX controls.
