CVE-2011-5109

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Freelancer calendar version 1.01 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the SearchField parameter in a search action to several API endpoints, including "category list.php", "Copy of calendar list.php", "customer statistics list.php", "customer list.php", and "task statistics list.php" in the worldcalendar directory.
Recommendations For Freelancer calendar version 1.01 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable API endpoints until a patch is available. Avoid using the SearchField parameter in search actions to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
