Description
A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) issue exists in the index/manager/fileUpload endpoint, allowing remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that upload a PHP file. This can be exploited by tricking an administrator into performing unintended actions.
Recommendations
For Public Knowledge Project Open Conference Systems versions 2.3.4 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the index/manager/fileUpload endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
