CVE-2011-5197

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Public Knowledge Project Open Harvester Systems versions 2.3.1 and earlier
Description A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) issue exists in the index/manager/fileUpload endpoint, allowing remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that upload PHP files. This could potentially lead to unauthorized actions on the system.
Recommendations For versions 2.3.1 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the index/manager/fileUpload endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using this endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
