CVE-2012-0781

CVSS v2.0

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PHP version 5.3.8
Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a NULL pointer dereference and application crash. This can be achieved by providing crafted input to an application that attempts to perform Tidy::diagnose operations on invalid objects.
Recommendations For PHP version 5.3.8, consider avoiding the use of the tidy diagnose function until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the input to the Tidy::diagnose operations to prevent the application from processing invalid objects.
