Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, potentially leading to application crashes, and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted H.264 file. This is related to the chroma format idc value in the ff h264 decode seq parameter set function.
Recommendations For FFmpeg versions prior to 0.9.1, update to version 0.9.1 or later. For Libav versions 0.5.x through 0.5.8, update to version 0.5.9 or later. For Libav versions 0.6.x through 0.6.5, update to version 0.6.6 or later. For Libav versions 0.7.x through 0.7.5, update to version 0.7.6 or later. For Libav versions 0.8.x through 0.8.2, update to version 0.8.3 or later.
