CVE-2012-0933

CVSS v2.0

2.6

Low

VectorAV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Acidcat CMS versions 3.5.1, 3.5.2, 3.5.6, and possibly earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the PATH INFO to specific API endpoints, including "admin colors.asp", "admin config.asp", and "admin cat add.asp" in the "admin/" directory.
Recommendations For Acidcat CMS versions 3.5.1, 3.5.2, 3.5.6, and possibly earlier, consider restricting access to the "admin/" directory until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the PATH INFO to "admin colors.asp", "admin config.asp", and "admin cat add.asp" in the "admin/" directory. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
