CVE-2012-0973

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions OSClass versions prior to 2.3.5
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is possible due to improper handling of the sCategory parameter to "index.php" by the (1) osc search category id function in "oc-includes/osclass/helpers/hSearch.php" and (2) findBySlug function in "oc-includes/osclass/model/Category.php".
Recommendations For OSClass versions prior to 2.3.5, update to version 2.3.5 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the sCategory parameter in "index.php" to minimize the risk of exploitation.
