CVSS v2.0
4.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
OneOrZero AIMS version 2.8.0 and possibly earlier
Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the PATH INFO to "index.php". This could potentially lead to unauthorized actions on the web application.
Recommendations
For OneOrZero AIMS version 2.8.0 and possibly earlier, consider restricting access to the "index.php" endpoint until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the PATH INFO to "index.php" to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
