Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the cat parent id parameter in an "addcat" action. This is a SQL injection vulnerability in the admin/categories.php file.
Recommendations For version 1.7.10, consider restricting access to the cat parent id parameter in the "addcat" action to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the cat parent id parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
