CVE-2012-1153

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions appRain CMF versions 0.1.5 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by uploading a file with an executable extension to the uploadify.php file in the addons/uploadify directory, and then accessing it via a direct request to the file in the uploads directory.
Recommendations For appRain CMF versions 0.1.5 and earlier, consider restricting access to the uploadify.php file in the addons/uploadify directory to prevent unauthorized file uploads until a fix is available. Additionally, restrict direct access to files in the uploads directory to minimize the risk of code execution.
