Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in memory consumption or device reload, via crafted transit traffic. An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this by sending transit traffic through a router configured with the WAAS Express feature. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to cause the router to leak memory or reload, potentially leading to a sustained denial of service condition.

Recommendations For Cisco IOS versions 15.1 through 15.2, update to a version that addresses these vulnerabilities, as specified in the Cisco IOS Software Security Advisory. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
