CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions NextBBS version 0.6
Description The issue concerns SQL injection vulnerabilities in the ajaxserver.php file. These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. The vulnerabilities are specifically found in the curstr parameter of the findUsers function, the id parameter of the isIdAvailable function, and the username parameter of the getGreetings function.
Recommendations For NextBBS version 0.6, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the ajaxserver.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the curstr, id, and username parameters in the affected functions until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
