Description The issue allows remote attackers to bypass the cross-site scripting (XSS) protection mechanism and inject arbitrary web script or HTML via non printable characters. This is due to a flaw in the t3lib div::RemoveXSS API method.
Recommendations For TYPO3 versions 4.4.0 through 4.4.13, consider disabling the t3lib div::RemoveXSS API method until a patch is available. For TYPO3 versions 4.5.0 through 4.5.13, consider disabling the t3lib div::RemoveXSS API method until a patch is available. For TYPO3 versions 4.6.0 through 4.6.6, consider disabling the t3lib div::RemoveXSS API method until a patch is available. For TYPO3 version 4.7, consider disabling the t3lib div::RemoveXSS API method until a patch is available. For TYPO3 version 6.0, consider disabling the t3lib div::RemoveXSS API method until a patch is available.
