Description The issue allows remote attackers to read content from a different domain or zone via a crafted web site. An information disclosure vulnerability exists that could allow an attacker to gain access to information in another domain or Internet Explorer zone by constructing a specially crafted webpage. If a user viewed the webpage, an attacker could exploit the vulnerability, potentially viewing content from another domain or Internet Explorer zone.
Recommendations For Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6 through 9, consider restricting access to potentially vulnerable web pages until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid viewing web pages from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
