Serendipity versions prior to 1.6.1
Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the
serendipity[textarea] parameter in the serendipity admin image selector.php file. This issue might be related to cross-site request forgery (CSRF).Recommendations
For versions prior to 1.6.1, update to version 1.6.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the serendipity admin image selector.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the
