CVE-2012-2936

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Pligg CMS versions prior to 1.2.2
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the user or page parameter to "admin/admin comments.php" or "admin/admin links.php", or the list parameter in a "move" or "minimize" action to "admin/admin index.php".
Recommendations For Pligg CMS versions prior to 1.2.2, update to version 1.2.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "admin/admin comments.php", "admin/admin links.php", and "admin/admin index.php" pages until the update is applied. Avoid using the user, page, and list parameters in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.
