Description The issue affects the availability of the system, allowing context-dependent attackers to exploit it. Remote code execution is possible if a user views a specially crafted file through Outlook Web Access in a browser, allowing an attacker to run code on the affected server as the LocalService account, which has minimum privileges on the local computer and presents anonymous credentials on the network.

Recommendations For Oracle Fusion Middleware version 8.3.7.0, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. For Microsoft Exchange Server, consider disabling the WebReady Document Viewing feature as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to Outlook Web Access to minimize the risk of exploitation.
