Description
The issue is related to multiple stack-based buffer overflows in the Near Field Communication Controller Interface (NCI) in the Linux kernel. This can be exploited by remote attackers who send incoming frames with crafted length fields, potentially leading to a denial of service (crash) and possibly allowing the execution of arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Linux kernel versions prior to 3.4.5, update to version 3.4.5 or later to resolve the issue.
