CVE-2012-3551

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Crowbar versions 1.4 and earlier
Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the file parameter to the "/utils" API endpoint.
Recommendations For Crowbar versions 1.4 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the /utils API endpoint until a patch is available. Avoid using the file parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
