Description The issue is related to the dissect stun message function in the STUN dissector, which does not properly interact with key-destruction behavior in a certain tree library. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an application crash, via a malformed packet.

Recommendations For Wireshark versions 1.4.x through 1.4.14, update to version 1.4.15 or later. For Wireshark versions 1.6.x through 1.6.9, update to version 1.6.10 or later. For Wireshark versions 1.8.x through 1.8.1, update to version 1.8.2 or later.
