CVE-2012-4771

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Subrion CMS versions prior to 2.2.3
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the id parameter to API endpoints such as "/admin/accounts/", "/admin/manage/", or "/admin/manage/blocks/edit/"; or the group parameter to "/admin/configuration/".
Recommendations For Subrion CMS versions prior to 2.2.3, update to version 2.2.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable API endpoints until a patch is applied. Avoid using the id and group parameters in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.
