Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript code by providing crafted data during execution of a .NET Framework application or an XAML browser application. A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the way that the .Net Framework retrieves the default web proxy settings, which could allow an attacker to take complete control of an affected system, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations
For Microsoft .NET Framework versions 2.0 SP2 through 4.5, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
