| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
IpTools (aka Tiny TCP/IP server) version 0.1.4
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in a HTTP request, due to a directory traversal vulnerability in the WebServer (Thttpd.bat).
Recommendations
For IpTools (aka Tiny TCP/IP server) version 0.1.4, consider restricting access to sensitive files and directories until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, disabling the WebServer (Thttpd.bat) can help minimize the risk of exploitation.
