Description The issue is related to the improper performance of signature verification for OCSP responses, which can be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This can lead to a NULL pointer dereference and application crash via an invalid key. Recommendations For OpenSSL versions prior to 0.9.8y, update to version 0.9.8y or later. For OpenSSL versions 1.0.0 prior to 1.0.0k, update to version 1.0.0k or later. For OpenSSL versions 1.0.1 prior to 1.0.1d, update to version 1.0.1d or later.
