Description The issue allows local users to bypass intended access restrictions and create or overwrite arbitrary files via shell output redirection. This is due to improper input filtering in the command-line interface (CLI) parser of Cisco NX-OS Software. An attacker could exploit this by using shell output redirection, and a successful exploit could allow the creation or overwriting of files. The vulnerability is available to all users, including read-only users. To exploit this, an attacker requires authenticated access to the targeted system.
