CVE-2012-5658

CVSS v2.0

2.1

Low

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Red Hat OpenShift Origin versions prior to 1.1
Description The issue allows context-dependent attackers to obtain sensitive information, such as passwords, in cleartext when the -d (debug mode) is used. This can occur when including log files or Bugzilla reports in support channels.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.1, avoid using the -d (debug mode) to prevent sensitive information from being output in cleartext. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to log files and Bugzilla reports that may contain sensitive information until a fix is applied.
