Description
A remote code execution issue exists in the way that Microsoft Windows Print Spooler handles specially crafted print jobs, potentially allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service due to memory corruption.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and R2 SP1, update the Print Spooler component to prevent remote code execution.
For Microsoft Windows 7 Gold and SP1, update the Print Spooler component to prevent remote code execution.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
