Description
The issue allows local users to gain privileges via a crafted application. Elevation of privilege vulnerabilities exist when the Windows kernel-mode driver improperly handles objects in memory. An attacker who successfully exploited these vulnerabilities could gain elevated privileges and read arbitrary amounts of kernel memory.

For Windows XP SP2 and SP3, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk.
