Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript code with chrome privileges via a crafted web site. This is possible because the XrayWrapper implementation does not properly restrict use of DefaultValue for method calls, specifically when a user-defined toString or valueOf method is triggered.
Recommendations For Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 22.0, update to version 22.0 or later. For Firefox ESR 17.x versions prior to 17.0.7, update to version 17.0.7 or later. For Thunderbird versions prior to 17.0.7, update to version 17.0.7 or later. For Thunderbird ESR 17.x versions prior to 17.0.7, update to version 17.0.7 or later.
