Description The issue affects confidentiality and is related to Serviceability in the Java Runtime Environment component. It may be connected to insufficient indication of an SSL connection failure by JConsole, related to the RMI connection dialog box, although Oracle has not confirmed this. Remote attackers can exploit this issue via unknown vectors.
Recommendations For Oracle Java SE versions 7 Update 21 and earlier, update to a version later than Update 21. For Oracle Java SE versions 6 Update 45 and earlier, update to a version later than Update 45. For OpenJDK 7, consider disabling the Serviceability component as a temporary workaround until a patch is available.
