| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Cisco Prime Central for Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) Assurance versions 8.6 through 9.1
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, specifically disk consumption, by flooding TCP packets to port 5400. This leads to the creation of large error-log files.
Recommendations
For versions 8.6 through 9.1, consider restricting access to port 5400 to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, implement rate limiting on TCP packets to port 5400 until a fix is applied.
