Description
The issue is related to the improper processing of X.509 certificates in Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA) devices when symmetric multi-processor (SMP) is used. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a device crash, via a large volume of SSL or TLS traffic.
