Description
An elevation of privilege issue exists in the way the Windows audio port-class driver handles objects in memory. This allows local users to gain privileges via a crafted application. An attacker who successfully exploits this issue could execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
Recommendations
For Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, and Windows RT, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
