Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an infinite loop and application hang, via a crafted packet. This is due to a problem in the dissect schedule message function in the GSM CBCH dissector.

Recommendations For Wireshark versions 1.8.x through 1.8.7, update to version 1.8.8 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the GSM CBCH dissector until a patch is available.
