7.6
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Huawei AR routers versions (affected versions not specified, but includes 150, 200, 1200, 2200, and 3200)
Description
The issue is related to a stack-based buffer overflow that can occur when SNMPv3 debugging is enabled on the affected routers. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via malformed SNMPv3 requests.
Recommendations
For the affected Huawei AR routers, disable SNMPv3 debugging until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the SNMPv3 service to minimize the risk of exploitation.
