CVE-2013-4881

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions BigTree CMS versions 4.0 RC2 and earlier
Description A cross-site request forgery issue allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that create an administrative user via an add user action to "index.php".
Recommendations For BigTree CMS versions 4.0 RC2 and earlier, consider disabling the user creation functionality in the create.php module until a patch is available. Restrict access to the "index.php" endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the add user action until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
