Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted string in a URL. This is due to a vulnerability in the uploader.swf component of Yahoo! YUI.
Recommendations
For Moodle versions 2.1.10 and earlier, update to version 2.1.11 or later.
For Moodle versions 2.2.x through 2.2.10, update to version 2.2.11 or later.
For Moodle versions 2.3.x through 2.3.7, update to version 2.3.8 or later.
For Moodle versions 2.4.x through 2.4.4, update to version 2.4.5 or later.
For Moodle versions 2.5.x through 2.5.0, update to version 2.5.1 or later.
For Yahoo! YUI versions 3.2.0 through 3.9.1, consider disabling the uploader.swf component until a patch is available.
