Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted string in a URL. This is due to a vulnerability in the flashuploader.swf file within the Uploader component.
Recommendations For Moodle versions 2.1.10 and earlier, update to version 2.1.11 or later. For Moodle versions 2.2.x through 2.2.10, update to version 2.2.11 or later. For Moodle versions 2.3.x through 2.3.7, update to version 2.3.8 or later. For Moodle versions 2.4.x through 2.4.4, update to version 2.4.5 or later. For Moodle versions 2.5.x through 2.5.0, update to version 2.5.1 or later. For Yahoo! YUI versions 3.5.0 through 3.9.1, consider disabling the flashuploader.swf file until a patch is available.
