CVE-2013-5695
CVSS v2.0
4.3

| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Opsview versions prior to 4.4.1
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, potentially leading to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This can be achieved through various means, including the
id parameter to "admin/auditlog/", PATH INFO to "info/host/" or "viewport/", the back parameter to "login", or the "from" parameter to "status/service/recheck".Recommendations
For versions prior to 4.4.1, update to version 4.4.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the affected parameters, such as
id, back, and "from", until a patch is available. Avoid using the vulnerable PATH INFO to "info/host/" or "viewport/" endpoints until the issue is resolved.Exploit
