CVE-2013-6636

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 31.0.1650.63
Description The issue arises from an incorrect check for an empty document during the presentation of a modal dialog in the FrameLoader::notifyIfInitialDocumentAccessed function. This allows remote attackers to spoof the address bar via vectors involving the document.write method.
Recommendations For versions prior to 31.0.1650.63, update to version 31.0.1650.63 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the document.write method in affected environments until the update is applied.
