Description
The issue is related to the Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) protocol implementation, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted CAPWAP packet. This is due to insufficient data packet validation. An attacker could exploit this by sending a crafted CAPWAP packet to the Cisco WLC, potentially requiring access to trusted, internal networks.
