Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
InstantSoft InstantCMS versions 1.10.3 and earlier
Description
A SQL injection issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is achieved via the
orderby parameter to the "catalog/[id]" endpoint.Recommendations
For InstantSoft InstantCMS versions 1.10.3 and earlier, consider updating to a version that contains a fix for this issue, if available. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the "catalog/[id]" endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the
orderby parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved.Exploit
