Description A remote code execution issue exists in Microsoft DirectShow due to the handling of specially crafted JPEG image files. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code when a user opens a crafted JPEG image. The exploitation of this issue can provide the same user rights as the current user. Users with limited system rights are less affected than those operating with administrative rights.
